About

If you've been entrusted with something, put it to work.

Talanton Digital is a holding company that builds and operates digital ventures. The conviction behind it is older than any product we will ever ship.

Why "Talanton"
τάλαντον
ta·lan·ton  ·  entrusted wealth

A talanton was a unit of weight and money in the ancient world. One talent of silver weighed roughly 75 pounds, worth about twenty years of a common laborer's wages. It was not pocket change. It was life-altering wealth.

In the Gospel of Matthew, a master entrusts his servants with talents before leaving on a journey. Not small sums. Staggering resources. His instruction, in essence: put this to work. Two servants invest and double what they were given. The third buries his to keep it safe. When the master returns, the builders are rewarded and the one who buried his loses everything.

The point the master makes is not about profit. It is about faithfulness. He commends the servants who were faithful with what they were trusted to carry. That story has been rattling around in the founder's head for decades. Not as a devotional thought, but as a business conviction.

What Talanton Digital is

A holding company that builds and operates digital ventures. Think of it as the launchpad and the engine room, the parent company behind a growing portfolio of SaaS products, content platforms, and digital services.

We do not acquire companies. We build them. Each venture is born from genuine expertise, built to solve a specific problem, and operated for the long haul.

Who's behind it

The founder brings thirty years of technology leadership across government, nonprofit, and entrepreneurial sectors. An architect-level thinker and a serial entrepreneur since 1997, currently an operations executive at a faith-based nonprofit, which means he knows the sectors he builds for from the inside out.

He is a Christ-follower. Not in the put-a-fish-on-the-logo sense, but in the this-is-why-I-build-what-I-build sense. The Parable of the Talents is not a branding exercise. It is the operating conviction underneath every venture under this roof.

Three decades of resources, relationships, and hard-won knowledge are not resume lines. They are entrusted wealth. Burying them was never an option.

How we think

Held in trust, not owned.

The premise under everything: time, money, expertise, and opportunity are entrusted, not owned. You manage what you own. You answer for what you were trusted to carry. That one shift sets the standard for the work.

People before metrics.

We build for the people we are serving, not the dashboard. A number can be satisfied without anyone being helped. We would rather move a metric because we moved a person, not the other way around.

The cautious servant is the cautionary tale.

In the parable, the one who fails is not reckless. He is careful. He protects what he was handed and risks nothing with it. The safest-looking choice, doing nothing with what you hold, is the one the story warns about.

Faith-informed, built for everyone.

Our values come from somewhere specific. Our products serve everyone. You do not need to share our convictions to benefit from what we build, and we are not going to hide where they come from.

Two ventures are live today, ExemptPay and NPCrowd, with more in development. The full profiles, and how we choose what to build next, are on the Ventures page.

We are not hard to find.
